4th Infantry Division HQ Building Renaming Ceremony

The 4th Infantry Division celebrated its 106th Birthday with events on December 7th and 8th, 2023 culminating with the renaming of the 4thInfantry Division HQ building in honor of Medal of Honor recipient 1st Sgt. David H. McNerney.

4th Infantry Division Alumni Tour

Commanding General MG Doyle and Division CSM Kupratty hosted events for 4th Infantry Division Alumni on December 7th and 8th which included a brief on the Division’s readiness, having lunch with Soldiers and a culinary dinner prepared by Soldiers who will be competing in an annual culinary competition at Fort Gregg-Adams.

4th Infantry Division Alumni were able to witness the testing for the Expert Infantry ‘EIB’, Expert Soldier ‘ESB’, and Expert Field Medic ‘EFMB’ badges. The E3B competition was hosted by the 1st Raider Brigade and spanned over several days. At the awards ceremony, we 4ID alumni were honored to pin Badges on the ’true blue’ individuals who had met all the standards.

The Division senior leaders hosted two culture panel events that focused on the 4th Infantry Division’s values-based culture and building cohesive teams. The guest speakers included GEN (RET) Dennis Reimer, CSM (RET)Timothy Metheny, and CSM (RET) Lawrence Wilson. Each speaker provided insightful perspectives to the brigade leaders.
